Thank you so much for your help in de-cluttering and organizing our toy room/family room. I have labeled the boxes accordingly and it has made a huge difference to tidying up. I appreciated your professional manner it was so much easier and enjoyable (we had a few laughs) than getting family members involved. It was great not having to take it too seriously, but when you felt it was needed, you gave me a friendly push to let go of items I really didn't need. Apart from of course tidy and organized cupboards, I think the best thing I got out of this day is what you said to me, that you enjoy the process of organizing. I have never been able to feel that, but those words have stuck with me and I am doing my best to come up with ideas to help me enjoy the process. I do believe it is hard to get to the end result of anything if we are not enjoying any part of the journey. I feel the next room we could work on is the kitchen and will be in touch soon.

What I got from my experience with you was a sense of accomplishment, a nicer house to which I would be happy to invite guests, a sense of empowerment, and motivation to continue the work we've done.
Your approach is sooooooooo just right! You are gentle and empathetic, but also firm and practical. You make it safe and free from judgement, allowing us to both just get on the the task at hand.
After you left (I just adore the small home office we created!), I decluttered my entire lounge room and even bought some plants as suggested - date palms. I didn't put the plants where you suggested, as they ended up looking odd, but they bring a lovely feel to the room now. My home office remains a beautiful working space; even when I get overwhelmed with paperwork, I can quickly put things in some semblance of order so that my entire office isn't out of control. And the filing cabinet moved to where it is means that I file things straight away, rather than building up a pile of papers to be filed!
I still have a problem with all my books, and I'd like you to come back and work on my bedroom with me (although part of me thinks it my be achievable on my own, given what I learned about the process). And I still haven't organised the bathrooms, so perhaps I need help with that.
I think what I'd most like to say to potential clients of yours, is that it is all in HOW it's done, and you have that honed. You just eased yourself into my space when I was dying of shame, but somehow helped me overcome that (quite quickly actually, given how acute the shame was!) and get down to sorting out my space. The cost was expensive but it really was worth it. I don't have a large income (slightly below average single parent household) but I really wanted external help and I researched a number of services, but felt you might have the right mix of what I needed in order to allow you into my home (I have good judgement!). You have integrity (I particularly like that you don't show before and after pictures; I never have to worry that you will give away my shameful secrets!) a beautiful, gentle manner about you, and of course the practical, get-stuck-into-it attitude. I had been having trouble keeping my office neat and organised since I began working for myself. It was a room that always had the door shut because I was embarrassed about the mess. When Jane arrived, there were papers all over the floor, in disorganised piles that I would 'one day' get to. I had a filing cabinet that was filled with irrelevant, outdated paperwork. Even though I could see that the floor, desk and shelves were messy, and that the whole room was in disarray, what I couldn't see or understand is the reason why. Jane came and we systematically started in one corner and worked through the office with the paper recycling bin and armed with the question of relevance for everything I was holding on to. Jane was able to help me understand my behaviour and emotions around financial independence while also cleansing my office of all irrelevance. I have nick-named her Wonder Woman, because of how my office looked when she departed. It looks twice the size, there's so much room, the floor is clean, the shelves are organised and there is a place for everything, I was so inspired by the transformation. I felt so clear and 20 Kilo's lighter. I am about to move house, and know that I can rely on Jane to make the move a breeze. Jane also helped me with my office processes. The flow of how to most effectively deal with paperwork coming into the office, so that there is no double handling (and no ever-increasing piles of paper). Her visit has not only de-cluttered the physical space of my office, but also my filing system and my outdated beliefs around money and business growth. I can honestly say that she has positively impacted on my life, in such an important way, and changed the way I'll do things forever - and not just in my office!

I wanted to say thanks for helping me organise my office. It is such a pleasure to open my filing cabinet and to be able to easily locate and extract files. It's amazing how much paperwork I had collected that was no longer requried, clearing this has made a huge difference to my mindset as well as being able to locate what I need when I need it.
